3" x 7" x 7" (2006) Knitted handspun wool, mohair, wire
Though the beautiful knitted eyes in this sculpture appear clear and open, they are confined by blinders. Such narrowness prevents them from seeing and understanding. The closed eyes on the outside of the blinders have curly mohair eyelashes.
Winner of a Juror's Choice Award at the Maryland Federation of Art, Circle Gallery, Annapolis, MD.
